Office Inspirations at Downtown Design Dubai 2024
Great workplace design is judged by how well people can think, meet, focus, reset, and feel at ease throughout the day.
At Downtown Design Dubai 2024, that idea shaped many of the most memorable displays. Across the fair, the strongest workplace concepts felt more human, more flexible, and more sensory. Our stand brought this thinking together through three brands with distinct strengths: Framery, Steelcase, and True Design.
Each brand answered a different need in the modern workplace. Framery addressed privacy and acoustic comfort. Steelcase explored adaptable work settings. Trudesign added character, colour, and material warmth.
A stand designed around choice and comfort
The stand was planned as a sequence of work settings rather than a single product display.
Visitors could see how different pieces work together, from enclosed acoustic spaces to open seating and softer lounge-style moments.
Framery pods gave the display a clear focus on privacy. Their clean forms helped frame an important workplace question: where can people go when they need silence, a call, or a short moment away from shared spaces?
Steelcase pieces showed how seating, posture, movement, and collaboration can all be supported within one connected environment.
Trudesign brought a more expressive layer with collaboraion seating. Its forms, colours, and finishes helped soften the technical side of workplace planning.
The pieces added visual interest while still fitting into a professional design scheme. They showed how furniture can help create identity without overwhelming the space.
We used earthy tones, muted brights, textured finishes, and layered materials to create depth. Trudesign aligned well with that direction, bringing a more expressive edge to the stand.
Framery brought privacy into the spotlight
Acoustic comfort was one of the clearest talking points at the fair. Open-plan spaces still have value, but they need support. Without quiet zones, even the best-looking workplace can become tiring. We brought Framery One, Framery One Compact, Framery Four and Framery Six to our stand.
Framery’s presence on the stand showed how acoustic pods can solve that problem in a clear and elegant way.
